I'm baaaaaaack

Geez, I've been gone for a week!

And what a week!

Went to Adelaide and promised myself I would be able to eat anything my heart desired, and so i did!

I had fish and chips, and Red Rooster, and lollies, and crisps, and cream buns, and donuts, and German sausage with sauerkraut, mashed potato and gravy, yummo! I had chocolate mousse, and turkish delight, and dried fruits directly from the Angus Park shop in Tanunda, double yum!

Ah, and so now I'm back home and back into it... Have NO idea what i weigh, or how much I've put on this past week... There's plenty of time to figure that out though.

Was going to walk with Jennifer yesterday morning before she's is off on her trip, but then it was raining and didn't want to take the chickenpox boy out in the rain... Also got my period on Tuesday and now I'm wondering if that is why I couldn't seem to shift the weight the past couple of weeks, perhaps it was prementrual water retention and bloating???

Can't wait for the weather to warm up again...

Have been having some real cravings the past day or so... Sugar really screws with my system. I don't even enjoy eating it that much, but boy do I feel the after effects, it's like coming down from a high, complete with nausea and head spins and headaches and depression. Only the fact that I know this will pass in a couple more days is keeping my resolve atm... Why do we do this to ourselves?

Oh and the other, erm, side effects... Unmentionable, um, GAS! Disgusting!

So, that's where I am at the moment - detoxing from a week of indulgence!

Yeah what is with that? I seriously blow up like a balloon and the day my period arrives my body just returns to normal. Even though it happens every month I still freak out for an instant and think "what the hell have I been eating lately?!" LOL
I remember a chinese herbalist saying something about water retention being exacerbated by too much salt (sounds like me!) but also that it's a hereditary tendency.

Yep, sounds about right (re:salt)... Hmmmm, this post was supposed to be in my other blog though, wonder what happened there?

Good Job!
