Home alone... The wacky stuff that surfaces when the mindscape is free to be roamed...

Dave has just taken ALL THREE boys to the park. It's a 15 minute walk there, and another 15 minutes home (duh!), and so even if they get there and it's been erased from existence, I have 30 minutes ALL TO MYSELF!!!

When they left, Video Shits was on the box, and this song just started playing...

I've been attracted to this song through the new Apple Mac add about their new super slim laptop. It always makes me think of "The Rainbow Children", that is the generation of children who have started coming through in about 90% of births, since last year. Some of you will have heard of the Indigo Children, and the Crystal children, yeah? Well, the Rainbow Children are the next lot to come through. They started coming through several years ago in very small numbers - I believe Luey was one - as scouts, and then those numbers have increased and now, since last year, they're coming through in masses...

The distinguishing mark of the rainbow child, is that they're a "NEW SOUL". They've been around for ever like every other soul, but they haven't been here before.

They are used to MANIFESTING their reality instanteously with thought, and therefore they can find this world a struggle because most humans don't even realise they can do this, let alone actually try doing this.

All the hype about "The Secret" is really only a foreword on what humans can actually do (according to this belief structure - I know I'm probably freaking a few of you out with this stuff, rofl, but I'm mostly sane - mostly)... So, rainbow children have always lived by the law of attraction, except for them it's been instanteous! As children, these children are very affectionate, and also prone to tantrums when their expectations aren't met instantaneously. For them, the experience of life here on Earth can be like walking through thick, sticky mud...

Anyhoo, so back to the song. I just saw the video for the first time. This song about a new soul coming here for new experiences, and the VIDEO actually depicts manifesting! How fantastic is that?

Of course, being pregnant right now, I'm very excited that I can FEEL my baby has a twin - if not in physical form (which is far less likely) then certainly in spirit form, higher self form. The connection is REALLY strong. It's like carrying two souls!!! I cannot WAIT to meet this person!!!

Ok, I'm taking my madness and leaving you with the song...

OMG!!! Too funny, I fell in love with the song off the commercial as well and have had it playing and intended to stick it in my blog too! LOLOL It was actually playing when I loaded your blog and started playing over itself!

You are my kind of nutty Sif :) FWIW - I get the manifestation thing. Most people may not realise it is possible, but, all people can do it, even, if it is not a conscious thing *wink* Even if you consciously are trying to change your life/future/whatever this way, you can unconsciously stop it from happening. Particularly if you also have a need for self destructive behaviour.

Amanda, how funny!

Steph, yeah, I TOTALLY get what you're referring too. A lot of people don't like the fear aspect of LOA, and the idea that they create the problems in their lives. I'm happy enough with the idea that I may attract trouble into my life by the way I think - I think that is preferable to "someone else" having the power to create trouble in my life, and me having no power, rofl!

But then again, I believe that there is a balance in the Universe, dark and light, or pain and joy, or whatever, and neither is clear cut but rather all about perception. So, what we perceive as horrible one day, may be, with time, perceived as good - and vice versa.

Also without pain, we cannot fully grasp joy, etc. So, it's all worthwhile.

I know "The Secret" espouses the idea of being "forever blissful" and never feeling pain...

I feel that is a great marketing ploy, but ultimately misleading in that it suggests that pain is not useful to us and therefore it is something we must avoid at all costs - which, to me, would cause a fear of pain or suffering or "failure" and is often what has people turn away from "The Secret" ultimately...

Hahaha, the girl can talk, can't she...

12 Things Happy People Do Differently - a self-reflection...

A few days ago a Facebook friend posted the above poster on her wall. I believe she got these points from this blog which she enjoys reading, and the bloggers on the Marc and Angel Hack Life blog derived their discussion of these points from this book, available on Amazon - you're welcome! I have to admit, I haven't read the blog or the book I've just mentioned but wanted my readers to have access to the sources of the poster for their own reflective purposes.
The New Year will be upon us in but a few days and I thought this a great opportunity to do a little personal assessment on how I'm playing the happy game. I'm often not very happy at all - I don't need to be happy all the time, let me just say that up front - I personally believe that life is a balancing act and those who seek euphoria often will also often feel desolation because in all things there must be balance. The great riches of the few on this planet come at the personal cost of the many as is …

The symbolism of elephants...

Just recently I've been seeing and noticing elephants everywhere!

A few weeks ago I saw the Samsung Elephant Ad, and watching that led me to watching a video with an elephant painting (seriously, you have to watch it to believe it!).

Then last night the boys told me they were having a free dress day at school to raise money for 'Mali the Elephant' - who turned out to be a paper maché statue which the children will paint and then show around the council before it comes back to the school to stand outside the performing arts room.

Then this morning I followed a link from Twitter to Toushka Lee's blog and read this post about an elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka.

This morning the Grumpy Old Man did another driving test and unfortunately didn't pass. We've booked his next test and are looking forward to that now. About ten minutes before he walked in the door I saw this poster on Facebook...

At the time, I didn't know if the Grumpy Old Man had been successful or …

Do you have low self-esteem?

I don't.

I used to think I did, but having met several people who really do have low self-esteem, I've now come to realise I actually have low confidence (and note I don't say low self-confidence, but more on that later), and that is a different breed of animal all together.

I was having a chat with a friend the other day about people who constantly put themselves down. If you are a participant in social media you might be aware of this kind of person. Everyone is smarter than them, prettier than them, more motivated, better organised, or has greater talent than them. It goes further, some of these people are not at all opposed to running themselves down to others with comments like, 'I'm so fat' (and not in a proud, fat acceptance way, but in a negative, self-loathing kind of way), or 'I'm stupid' or 'I'm ugly'.

Some people are just fishing for compliments, of course, but the ones who persist; the ones who simply cannot take a complimen…
